New Standard Stacking Chair was designed for outdoor use in the restaurants in Havnegade 44. The restaurants are housed in architect Kristoffer Nyrop Varming’s classical modernist building from 1937 – a building characterized by a geometric design expression that appears precise and stringent and simultaneously friendly and welcoming. New Standard Stacking Chair is based on similar ideals but its comfort and compact stackability and the applied tube bending method bring it into the present time.
